*ahem* Let me re-introduce to you: Fauzia.
I've been so laaazyyy in updating this blog. But, never fear! I've found some AWESOME videos that made my jaws drop down soOoOO looOOOW!
I was just browsing through youtube.com (as you do) and found this:
I'd be giggling all day if I taught my little boy to play like that- 'cuz I too play the drums. But NOT as good as this seven-year-old:
And, for the grand royale; MIKE PORTNOY! Any dear fans of the progressive rock band: Dream Theater? In my personal opinion they're THE GREATEST rock band that had ever existed in the universe! Don't agree with me? Check out this video of Mike Portnoy kicking ass on the drums (song: New Millenium):
That's all for now, y'all. I'd probably come back laterz. Take care!

It's a little weird when I face myself with a new post. It's like....I don't know what to type or i've forgotten what crept into my mind a minute ago. However, when i'm away from the laptop I have all these thoughts that I tell myself should go into this blog. I haven't blogged for a week, that's un-fauz-like.
Robbie, Abdurrahman and I usually go out together on Saturdays but today was an exception - 'cuz of the beautiful rain. I HATE staying inside on weekends- I mean, I spend every living, frikkin', misreable, minute of my life inside the house with no transportation - except my legs. I can't use my car to drive yet, can't wait until i'm allowed to drive. If I was living on my own I wouldn't be complaining about staying indoors all the time because it's MY HOUSE- but that's not the case here........i'm praying that Allah will provide us with wealth so we could purchase our own space (Allah willing).
On a much brighter note, Abdurrahman and I are going over to my mum's house for the whole day tommorrow!! OHH YEEHH!! One of my high school friends said she'll come down to see the baby- can't wait to see you Lou! --> damn, I haven't msg'd her about 2mro, I better get to that soon.
I'm quite surprised that I feel rather sad about Steve Irwin's death. Would've been better if he was a Muslim- he'd make an excellent Muslim though, so passionate and enthusiastic in his deeds.
I remember a time when Nafeesa, Gema & I got together (before Gema departed for Spain) @ Naf's house and just hung out, I brang my guitar along.....driving my van....LOL! remember that one Naf? LOL. And we walked to a nearby park going on the swings and the slippery-slides. During mid-year 12 I started to bring my video cam-corder to special school events such as; Athletics Carnival, Talent Quests (in which I competed in for yr11 & 12), our yr12 luncheon & graduation. And since I brang my vid-cam practically everywhere Naf, Gemz & I decided to create a random documentary (mainly the ideas of skecthes came from gem & naf, and I being the camera-woman for 99% of the documentary, LOL) to show @ the Luncheon.
ANYWAY.....the day we got together before Gemz left for Spain, I brang my vid-cam along and recorded EVERYTHING we did, including the crazy episodes @ the park where Nafeesa did an impersanation of Steve Irwin: "G'day! My name is Steve Irwin and this is my wife, Terry. And today, we're gonna look at the most beeeauuutiful crocodiless in the wooorrrrrldd!!"
And since then I couldn't get Steve and his crocodiles out of my system- I had to impersonate him every chance I got.
It's 10:45pm and i'm so psyched about going to my mum's tommorrow!! I'm gonna see my cousin's baby, Hamzah.
Can't wait to see mah momma, poppa & brodaass.
I'll catch y'all laterz.........sadly i've ran out of Hadiths to post in here. Hopefully i'll get some more next time.
~Peace.

CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
It's been 2 days since my last blog...hehehe. How've y'all been? I'm great! It just occured to me, while feeding my son, that he's 8 months today around 4:10pm. I LOVE being a mum to my boy. Among many things he's just the best thing that's ever happened to me. It just feels so rewarding having him around 24/7; I feel so needed (hahah) that my son needs me and such. Even me being my lame self- he laughs at anything I do, that's a bond that can NEVER be broken.
Didn't do much; did my son's laundry, hung it out to dry- 'twas a beautiful day for the laundry today! Had THE best nap ever! After feeding my son's lunch, we played together for abit and then it was down to the beginning signs of sleepy-head. I love it when I put my face up-close to his. Snuggling up to this little person next to you- snug as a bunny.
On a serious note, I found these videos encompassing the subject of the Islamic laws on Hijab. I, for one, am proud to represent Islam by covering my modesty. I do not care how people look at me in the streets. Instead of criticising and complain about this way of life called Islam, why not research about it? Why do these women have such passion in wearing the veil? Well, here's your chance to watch and find out.
There's three (3) parts to this documentary. So sit back and view the world of Islam from a different perspective - if you decide to watch it.

To Integrate Or Not To Integrate, That Is The Question.
When I heard this morning, on the news, that Mr. Johnny Howard wants Muslim migrants to learn English and integrate with the Aussies and embrace aussie lifestyle/values, I felt outraged!
What the heck is he getting at now? Why is the spotlight always shone on us Muslims? Just leave us alone and let us speak if it's Freedom of Speech that you're preaching. I mean, learning english has great advantages; but if the old folks don't want to and it serves no benefit for them, why bother?? Don't push people into doing something they don't want to do.
Johnny wants us to INTEGRATE and embrace aussie values. Just what ARE aussie values?? If it entails Muslims going down to the local pub and surround themselves with alcohol, let alone DRINKING some too- that is not on! And if it entails Muslim women to let loose of their Hijabs and long dresses and reveal their beauty to the world- that is out of the question!
Speaking of EQUALITY, I cannnot be more ticked off @ the PM for stating: "And it means understanding that in certain areas, such as the equality of men and women ... people who come from societies where women are treated in an inferior fashion have got to learn very quickly that that is not the case in Australia." For those of you who are in darkness and don't know a thing about Islam you'd best keep your eyes glued to this blog for a little bit.
Our Creator, Allah Almighty, created us human beings under the shade of EQUALITY. Meaning that we are equal in our human instincts; survival, procreational, and worshipping instincts. What makes men & women different is our RESPONSIBILITIES.
For example: a married couple (man & woman) with kids maintaining their household. A Father has the role to financially support his family and therefore he seeks work. A Mother's number one priority is to look after her kids and the household and therefore she either stays home and look after the kids OR she can go out into the workforce and help her husband AND look after the kids. And behind every successful man is a woman who maintains that success.
If Johnny Howards thinks, even for one second, that Islamic culture inferiorates women and their values, then he's got no idea whatsoever. In the time of The Prophet (peace be upon him), as long as 1400 years ago, women were even allowed to vote, own properties, have their own businesses and you're calling us Muslims 'ancient', 'backward'?? (pfFt!).
According to Australian history (i'm not really good with Australian History, so I don't know the dates of the events occured) women were NOT allowed to vote until a later time! (see, told you I wasn't good at dates). They were treated like rubbish and men held the assumption that women had no souls. What kind of a society is THAT?! And yet Johnny Howard criticises Muslims to treat their women as equals. Johnny, your head is messed up!! Read the whole article: Learn English, PM Insults Muslims.

HADITH OF THE DAY
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Verily there is a piece of flesh in the body,
if it is good, then the whole body will become good.
But if it is corrupt, then the whole body will become corrupted.
Verily it is the heart."

Everything you've read is my Islamic opinion and if you don't like it, fine, I don't care, it's my opinion. And if you've got opinions which I don't like, fine, I don't care, they're yours to keep.
Just remember this: Islam promotes peace and NOT hatred. Jihad and suicide bombing is another subject that I can go into, but not now.

IDOL, IDOL, IDOL....
Oh my! Had to rush the shopping fiasco for tonight, 'cuz we didn't wanna miss out on Idol...kekkekeke.
Got home and saw that Lisa chick got through..woOOhoOO! I really like her petiteness, so cute! Even when sings- she's got this vulnerability...which is awesome~ And who wouldn't choose Lavina Williams to go through in the top 12?! With a voice like that...wwoooaahh!
Walked to Roselands with Abs today- and it only took 35 minutes! Awesome doOoOD! Finally got there- legs were aching like they were about to fall off. Aight, so I sat down decided to hydrate myself and was greeted by this Muslim woman with her baby girl. At that moment I recognised her right away! Her little baby was premature and was in the same Neonatal Unit as my son (in Bankstown hospital).
And for three weeks we saw our babies gaining weight and their strength everyday- mind you, ever since my son was born I spent all day and night at the neonatal unit for 3 weeks....there was no other place i'd rather be than to see my little boy improving everyday...even to this day- Praise Allah Almighty for that :D

DODGY eBAY SELLERS - CURSE THEM!!
Oh boy, i'm so pissed @ the company who I bought my iRiver from!!Yeh, i've bought and sold many things off eBay and nothing has gone wrong..........until now. I bought the iRiver H120 (20GB) for $265, plus $25 for express post(which I received 2 weeks later), AND plus another $60 for the remote control!!
That's a frikkin' whopping $350!! And when I finally receive the blarrdy iRiver, guess what happens next! The frikkin' idiot leaves out the remote control!! He made me wait 2 weeks for that. I thanked my brother immensely for dropping it by and got on the net right away to pound his ass!!
I totally have the right to be pissed off, aren't I? Just a tip for eBay-ers out there: look at the seller's feedback and their feedback comments. Never again am I gonna buy from that company- think he might've been asian....majority of them are dodgy.
gRRRRR!! I must not remain angry....i've gotta calm down and wait for their reply. IT'S BLAARRDYY TICKING ME OFF!!!
Time for a hadith:
HADITH OF THE DAY
The Messenger (peace be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will be lowered
so that the distance between it and the people
will be only be one mile.
That Day, people will drown in their own sweat
according to their deeds.
Some will have sweat reaching their ankles.
Some will have it reaching their knees.
some will have it reaching their necks.
And some will be completely drowned in their own sweat."
[H.R. Muslim]
And with that I will continue perform good deeds, for the sake of seeking Allah's pleasure.

At the moment....
[mood]really bored and fed up
what's good on television these days? i like the fact that Idol is on everynight until Thursday; with the first two boys who got through to the final, Damien and Dean. Poor Damien, Mark Holden reckons he's butt-ugly...LOL...that's slack. I don't reckon he's ugly but he should book an appointment at the dentist and get those teeth fixed. And Dean...phhwoaah!! There's something about him that triggers. I can't wait to see the 2nd group of boys tonight. I have my eye on that fob young man and ricky muscat...wooOoOO~ what d'you reckon of the girls? didn't like Klancie (however u spell it), i liked the way Reigan looked (who sang *i wish i was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair*), quite a pretty girl.
OHH! In the U.S, they've released season 2 of Prison Break! Robbie downloaded the first ep and it was daarrnn good! I don't mean to spoil it for the fans but Veronica gets shot (in the head) whilst talking with Lincoln on the phone. She was the only one alive (until now) who knows that Terrance Steadman is not really dead. Now that she's gone they boys are gonna have a hard time in proving Lincoln's innocence.
Watching All Saints on channel 7 without picking out their mistakes is impossible (because i'm a nursing student) for me to do. And whatever happened to Ghost Whisperer after All Saints?! I couldn't care less about Celebrity Survivor, i'd rather watch David Tench Tonight- such a cute cartoon...kekekek.
These television networks have run out of programs to broadcast that catch our attention for more than 5 minutes. I'm loving Grey's Anatomy- hillarious. And i'm loving House, M.D.- i've watched all eps on this dvd and I know how the last episode will end.....I won't ruin it for you. But my question is: Why the hell do they keep on showing repeats of House?!? IT'S FLAMIN' ANNOYING!
also wanted to put pictures here:

hmm...what else is there to report...>_< nope! think that's it! Ciao!

PAUSE & CONTEMPLATE
O mankind! You have forgotten the remembrance of Allah.
You busy yourself in worldly matters.
You rarely read the Qur'an.
You read the hadith every single day but
do not take any lessons from it.
You delay the prayers.
You think yourself sufficient by not supplicating to Allah.
You talk about the faults of others as if you are perfect.
You find it hard to help other Muslims.
You never cry out of the fear of Allah.
You spend hours in front of the television.
You fill your ears with music night and day.
You laugh and joke as if there is no Hereafter.
Yet after all this, you hope to enter Paradise?
How ironic!
Ali ibn Abi Talib said: "I am very amazed at a person
who wishes to enter Paradise but does not act to gain it."
Pause and contemplate, and ask yourself,
are you really worthy of entering such a beautiful place?
Do not answer in words, but answer in deeds....

I have gained so much weight since my son's birth, it's not funny! I feel so icky. Sometimes i'm even shy changing clothes in front of my hubby so he won't see those rolls....LOL! eeeEeWW. I was 60kg (which is pretty good for my height) when I was pregnant and throughout I gained 12kg (which is good!). So now, i'm almost blaardy 70kg! That's gotta stop! That's why i've decided to walk every day for at least 1 hour.
I've already started walking last Sunday from Punchbowl, Canterbury Rd, down to Maccas, Roselands (near my aunty's house- I pop by there ocassionally). Roughly, that takes 35-45 minutes. It depends because I bring my son with me.
But man, I feel so good after those walks. I used to consume a reasonable amount of food so my body produces enough breast milk for bubba; but now that he's almost 8 months he needs more than my milk.....I feel rather sad that I don't produce as much milk as I used to. As a mother, I prefer giving my son my breast milk because not only is it alot more convenient, it's also the most awesome bonding experience with a little person.
Obviously, I haven't been diligent in updating my blog everyday as I planned to. I'm still waiting for my iRiver mp3 player (20GB storage- pack on those lectures mate!) , which I bought on eBay, for 2 and a half weeks! Apparently they tried to deliver it to my Lakemba address twice when nobody was home, so it was sent back.........i'm so pissed!
So, here's something think about:

PAUSE AND CONTEMPLATE:
The doctors have informed you that you have
one day to live, then after you will die and
return to your Lord.
What will you do?
Who will you turn to?
Are you content with what you have done in life?
Are you happy with the deeds in which you have prepared yourself with to face Allah?
Will you still neglect the Qur'an?
Will you still walk out after every prayer or take some time to dhikr?
Will you still be laughing and telling jokes?
Will you still have time to watch television?
Verily it is not the doctors who are promising,
but Allah has warned you to prepare for death for it may
come at any moment.
The Angel of Death is waiting at your doorstep,
waiting for the command of Allah to open the door and take your soul.
So pause and contemplate, and prepare yourself,
for tonight could be the night he opens the door and
greets you......

Hey!~
Whoa, what a night....it's quite cold though. Just in the middle of watching a bit of Cast Away- starring Tom Hanks (an awesome actor) and his ball mate, Wilson. But before that I caught the ending half of The Witches- remember that movie?? I was in primary the first time I watched........back then I thought those freaky witches were BUTT-UGLY!!
It's Saturday night; 10.24pm. I went over to my parents' house this arvo around 3pm with my hubby, ROBBIE and AbdurRahman. We always have fun @ my parents'- as I might have mentioned in my previous entries- i'm happiest when i'm with my family.
Another thing I wanted to get off my chest, after much debate with my husband. Sometimes I DO need someone to talk to- especially with a relative you're close to. I don't want to mention any names here.
This is my message: you've told my husband something about you that you don't want ME to find out. What's that about?? I'm your cousin! Our mothers are sisters. You have this fear of me finding out; the thing is that you're afraid of my reaction once I know your situation. Why would you be afraid?? I'M NOT GONNA BLOODY BITE YOUR HEAD OFF!! I think of you as my little sister, for God's sake! You can tell me your worries, talk to me about it.
You think i'm going to dictate your life (if I find out) just because my brother has a rough way of advising you guys. Honestly, i'm not like that- i'm not him and i've never spoken to you or your siblings that way. So, i've asked my hubby let you know that whatever you've got to say, I will listen and advise you the best that I can without being judgemental. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR OOUUTT.......!

So, i've asked my hubby let you know that whatever you've got to say, I will listen and advise you the best that I can without being judgemental. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR OOUUTT.......!
HADITH OF THE DAY
The Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: "Allah gives worldly provisions
to those whom He loves and those hwom He does not love.
But He only gives this religion (Islam) to those whom He loves.
So whoever has been given this religion,
then verily he has been loved by Allah." [H.R Ahmad bisnadin sohih].
Take care of yourselves people.

I Need A V-drink
I don't have the energy to update my blog EVERY SINGLE DAY. I just missed a deadline in submitting my article for a magazine- Al Hijrah. Well, I gotta submit it by midnight tonight....but I have soOOoO many things to dooOooOooOOoooOOOOoO!! THIS SUX!! Wish I could have MORE time for EVERYTHING these days....I WANT MORE TIME!!
I barely get to pick up my guitar and just strum the tunes I used to........I sometimes whisper for my single life to come back and whisk me away- wouldn't that be beautiful? I REALLY need my own space; I have a son that can't sleep in the same room as his parents all his life- I WANT MY OWN SPACE...DAGNAMMIT!
I have to get this off my chest. Some women are just so ungrateful when God gives them a second chance with their husbands. In Islam obeying your husband is equivalent to obeying Allah; of course, if a husband tells his wife to go against Allah's wishes, THEN she can disobey him. Islam is beautiful. If it weren't for these marriage rights that a husband has over his wife and a wife has over her husband, I wouldn't have gotten married in the first place. D'oh! What AM I going on about? I'm jumping from subject to subject; not knowing where to stop.
From now on I want to begin posting one HADITH per day. I want this blog to serve a purpose. Not only do I want this blog to record my thoughts and such, but I also want this blog to be a source of DA'WAH - in other words: inviting people to Islam.

HADITH OF THE DAY
The Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: "Verily the word 'As-Salam'
is a Name from one of the Names of Allah (meaning The Source of Peace)
in which He has placed on this earth.
So spread the salam (peace, salutation) among yourselves
(by saying Assalaamu'alaikum....)."
[H.R Al-Bukhari].
I've been meaning to post this other short-story that I received in an e-mail from a friend. It's about why women cry; I swear I felt myself tingle after reading it.
"Why Women Cry"
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?"
"Because I need to" she said.
"I don't understand," he said.
His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," his dad answered carelessly.
The little boy, still wondering why women cry, finally asked the old wise shaikh. "He surely knows the answer", he thought.
"Ya Shaikh! Why do women cry so easily?"
He answered: "When Allah made the woman she had to be made so special. He made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort. He gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that comes from her children. He gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
He gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child hurts her very badly. He gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. He gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly. And lastly, He gave her a tear. This is hers and only hers exclusively to use whenever she needs it. She needs no reason, no explanation, its hers."
"You see my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the beauty of her face, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
The little boy got the answer and never asked the question again.
Now that I know, I am always welcome to shed a tear without answering to anybody.
~Peace.

Home sweet home.
Every second Sunday it's always a morning trip to my parents' house- of course bringing my little man along. You know, i'm most happiest when i'm together with my family, cuz I miss them so much every day of my life.....I can't drive the car yet- so...I'll only see them once a week when my hubby drops us off before he goes to work. *sigh* buh....THAT'S LIFE!
Had some good news the other day. My cousin gave birth to a baby boy on Friday, 5.30pm. Couldn't believe it, I WAS SO HAPPY FOR HER!! We got married practically in the same week, last year on March. I was married before her and our weddings were a week apart. And now our kids are 7 months apart, for sure they will be cousins FOR LIFE, YEH BOIII!! SubhanAllah, her baby was born 3.4kgs, 57cm; pretty tall for an Indonesian baby- buh hey, baby's mum was born in New Zealand.
My cousin and I are related through our mothers - actually, there's 3 of them, my mum being the eldest and her two sisters, my aunties. Our mums have a huge family; 15 kids including themselves, minus 3 which leaves 12 of my aunties and uncles (I LOVE BIG FAMILIES!). My cousins and I, are a pretty close knit. Given that I have no sisters but two older brothers, my female cousins are like sisters to me, very dear to me.

'Twas hillarious to see us all in her room with the baby (@ the hospital), we took up her whole space up mate! LOL. So we were all shifted to the lounge, where the was room for a big village. Took heaps of photos, especially with AbdurRahman & Hamzah (the new baby) together. I LOVE BABIES, THEY'RE ADORABLE!!

Corruption at its best.
I always ask Allah Almighty to show His Great Power in retaliation to those attacks on Lebanon. I am sincerely PISSED OFF! What the heck can I do?! Go into battle against those Israeli soldiers? I WISH! We can only do so much.
I received a powerpoint document from a muslim brother the other day in an email. It showed the most horrific pictures I have ever seen of some thousands of Lebanese burned alive, bombed alive and their faces distorted, heads missing, babies and small children lying lifeless in the ruins.
I checked my email 2 days ago and I received this video. You MUST watch it! This guy has the balls to convey what is truth and what is false. All I believe is that the U.S. is responsible for all this.
George Galloway Savages SKY NEWS!
After watching that video I realised how the news makes a bloody big deal and exaggerates when 2 or 3 Israeal soldiers are dead, as opposed to 100,000 dead Lebanese men, women, children, elderly and babies included.

Odd Spots [Pt. 2]
What is up with my menstruational cycle?! Not that i'm complaining but uh......I don't want to get used to not praying 'cuz then I won't feel like a Muslim.....blah! One thing I like about these Libra pads is that the strips have some wicked facts! Here go the 'odd spots' again...yeh, yeh; i've got one here, by the way, and would like to BORE YOU TO DEATH with them......if that is what they're doing- MUAHAH!

my lil' bundle of joy~

For those that have known me for quite a long time, who would've thought that I would become someone's wife....let alone someone's mother? Seriously, I have always thought that out of my friends and family, that I would be the last one to get married and reproduce....LOL! It turns out that I was the first one to get married before my 2 older brothers; but since i'm the girl i'm permitted to get hitched before them...kekekeke! Honestly, I am loving the marriage life (just hope that I get my own space soon), ESPECIALLY now that I have this little man to dote over every single minute.
No matter how you view it, time will never wait for you. It'll always be ahead of you and you can never keep up! That's what it feels like to watch your child grow up SO quickly and never realise how time does that.
My 7-month-old, AbdurRahman, is such a SCREAMER! Most of the day he's just babbling baby language to himself, screeching at the top of his lungs, pulls out his dummy and puts it back in the wrong way. Anybody who has children will understand how I feel.
It's amazing to see such a tiny human being having already such a characteristic- whether it be yours or your hubby's or perhaps a mixture of both. I gotta cut this short as he's about to have lunch.
So i'll catcha next time! Adios!

Odd spots.
Well, I was sitting on the toilet seat this morning changing pads (menstruational cycle) and noticed that Libra pads- I love when they have wings!- have these odd facts on the strips. Chicks who use Libra may understand what i'm talking about. These are strips which you pull off so that the pad will stick to your undies.
Ok...I was reading through them and thought some of them were mind-blowing! What if I collected them? Would that be bizzare? I mean, there's alot of facts that I don't know about; gaining knowledge is one thing and sharing them is another. Hah! gaining knowledge from a pad strip....pfft!
Anywho, I wanted to post some here (they're not in order, that's how they appear on the stips):

In my opinion, reading all that while you're on the toilet would keep you occupied in the bathroom.

I used to think that being married would be a fairytale on earth.
Please don't get me wrong- i'm happily married with a wonderful husband & a newborn 4 month old baby boy who are the focus of my life!
Within the first year of marriage is where the rollercoaster ride kicks in. I won't disclose any details because in doing so would be so Islamically wrong. Just bear in mind that you choose the right guy/girl for marriage (i'm glad I did)....and in-laws are important to consider. Oh! And if you're in the middle of your studies and considering marriage, wait and think about it; better to finish off your studies- tis for the best, mate!
Heaps of sacrifices tag along with this marriage package; I miss doing my own thing, miss being with my parents and brothers (i'm youngest of 3 and only girl). You don't realise how precious spending time with your family is until you've been separated from them. Things are just different after married life and you don't even notice the months passing by.
It's 1.07am, eyelids are drooping and my 4-month old son is still awake after 1/2 an hour of feeding......I feel drained out; i've gotta end this entry now before I faint.
Peace.
